Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including: your email address; your full name; your date, time, and place of birth (for astrological calculation purposes); your responses to our triage questionnaire; payment information (processed and stored by Stripe — we never store raw card data); and the private key you create to secure your account (stored as a cryptographic hash).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to: calculate your astrological natal chart and transit analysis; generate your personalized sanctuary reading; secure and provide access to your account; process your payment; and communicate with you about your account when necessary. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside of delivering the Service.
3. Your Birth Data — A Special Commitment
Your exact birth time, date, and location are strictly used for astronomical calculations and are never sold to third parties. This is a foundational commitment of HopeLoop. Your birth data is stored encrypted in our database, is never shared with any external analytics, advertising, or data broker service, and is never used for any purpose other than generating your personal astrological reading.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data with a very limited set of service providers, strictly for the purpose of operating the Service: Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI-powered reading generation — your birth data is transmitted to generate your personal report and is not stored or used for model training by Anthropic under our commercial agreement), and our hosting infrastructure provider. We do not sell your personal information to any third party, ever.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, cryptographic password hashing (bcrypt with appropriate cost factors), and restricted database access. However, no system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique private key for your account.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at hopeloopco@gmail.com with your registered email address. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
7. Cookies
The HopeLoop Service uses only functional, session-based browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict our processing of your data; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hopeloopco@gmail.com.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
